Mon, 12 Oct 2009 11:49:12 GMT 7F4F3EBAF7E6F2FDD23616CEF27B5472 http://cristabo.co.nz/blog.cfm?feature=733615&postid=96536 What a thrill for the team.  Coco taking out Best of Breed over a strong entry and with 9 week old babies at home.  This is the second year in a row Cristabo girls have taken out Best of Breed at the National with last years award and Group 2 going to Medo (CH Cristabo Starlite Serenade).  This year, Cristabo bred Dals also won Reserve Dog CC (Cracka), Reserve Bitch CC (Ruby) Best Puppy of Breed (Cracka), Best Intermediate of Breed (West), Best NZ Bred of Breed (Ruby) and of course, Best Open of Breed (Coco).  Nearly a clean sweep! Cristabo Dals also won BOB and RBOB at the National Prelude show held the day before with Oakley going BOB and Coco RBOB. Unfortunately though, between breed judging at the Nats on Friday and finals on the Sunday, Coco somehow managed to break her tail.  The break is 3/4's of the way down the tail and recovery is not looking promising.  Will Coco be seen in the ring again?  Time will tell.  At least we have her beautiful baby "Cookie"coming on to fill the gap.

]]> Thu, 25 Jun 2009 02:20:00 GMT AFA90B2A2E90F098BDEFCC83D06A84B4 http://cristabo.co.nz/blog.cfm?feature=733615&postid=42965 Hi there, I've finally updated the website to include new pages for Blaze and Cracka.  We had a good weekend down in Blenheim showing going Best of Breed at all three shows.  At show 1, Cracka went Best of Breed beating the older dogs.  This was an unexpected surprise considering he is still in the Baby Puppy class and not eligible for a CC.  So to put him up over the adults is quite a big call - clearly the judge really liked him.  In fact Cracka went on to have an awesome weekend, going best Baby Puppy of Group at all three shows and Best Baby Puppy In Show at 2 out of 3.  He also took out 2nd place in the Puppy Sweepstakes.  Coco went Best of Breed at the other two shows and Blaze won Best dog and CC.  These are his first two CC's so also a good weekend for him.  Coco and Medo both showed well so it was good to have a win with Coco over Medo for a change.  Recently Medo  has been beating Coco for best bitch and I think Coco's nose has been a bit out of joint as a result.
